ImageValve have announced at the Tokyo Games Show that the awaited Left 4 Dead 2 demo will be released on October 27th 2009 to those people that have pre-ordered the full game. Those that haven't pre-ordered will have to wait until November 3rd to play the demo. Valve have also announced that the full game will be released on the 17th November fpr PC and Xbox360.

Other news in the world of Left 4 Dead is that the next DLC pack will be released for PC and Xbox 360 next Tuesday 29th September. PC users are getting this for free but, due to Microsoft rules, Xbox360 owners will have to pay to receive the update.

That sounds great, but when are they planning to let us preorder the game then? I've looked and it is still not up for preorder :(

Pre-orders are already available from retailers. Pre-orders through Steam will be ready next week when the next L4D1 DLC is out, so I've been told.

Well it is only the steam preorder ive worried about, as that the only one that will get you the demo early and the game the day of release n1

Nope. Retail pre-orders are getting the demo early also, from what I've read.
